Personal Bio

Ever hear the phrase ‘Jack of all trades, master of none?’ That’s me, Jill of all trades. I’ve worked as a carhop (no skates), a lifeguard at Girl Scout camp, a trainer of outdoor skills, and a day camp director. I’ve shot skeet, archery, and played softball. Hubby and I raised Irish triplets (three kids eleven months apart, girl in the middle) but only have one grandson. Our family has rescued and raised one dog and five cats over the years.

Once my kids asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I told them that being a grandmother was all I had left. Since then I’ve become a published writer, a college fiction writing instructor, and developed an interest in gourmet cooking. Life is one huge surprise, that’s for sure.
